Co-Curricular Activity

Swaraj College of Commerce and Computer Studies organized the Nirbhay Kanya Abhiyan program, which is focused on empowering and ensuring the safety of female students. The main aim of this program is to build confidence, teach self-defense, and raise awareness about gender equality. The program is usually held in collaboration with universities and NGOs, such as Savitribai Phule Pune University, and offers various workshops. These workshops cover important topics like self-defense techniques, cyber safety, health and hygiene, and legal rights.

During the program, students also have the chance to interact with police officers who teach them about personal safety, and legal experts who explain the laws that protect women’s rights. 2. Induction Program

3. Science Day

Science Day is an annual event at Swaraj College of Commerce and Computer Studies, celebrated on 28th February to honor the discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir C.V. Raman. The day aims to inspire students to develop a scientific mindset and appreciate the importance of science and technology in everyday life.

The event includes a Science Exhibition where students showcase creative projects and experiments related to various branches of science computer science. There are also competitions such as quizzes, debates, and poster-making contests to test and expand students’ scientific knowledge.

4. Infosys Visit

CET Guidance On 19th October 2024, an exciting Industrial Visit was organized by Swaraj College in collaboration with Synergy School to the prestigious Infosys Pune Campus. This visit provided an incredible opportunity for students to explore the world of IT and consulting, firsthand, at one of the global leaders in the industry.
The day began with a guided tour of the Infosys Pune Campus, where students had the chance to explore its vast and modern infrastructure. They visited various buildings on the campus, including office spaces, innovation labs, and training facilities. The campus, known for its eco-friendly design and cutting-edge technology, offered students a glimpse into the operations of a major global IT company.
