Y.C.M.O.U : Distance Education
Swaraj College of Commerce and Computer Studies, Study Center, YCMOU is established in 2018. Principal Alok Pawar has initiated to give an option of distance education for those students who want to pursue their graduation but unable to attend the college regularly. Asst. Prof. Swapnali Korhale – Pawar is the coordinator of study center. We conduct different courses e.g. preparatory program, graduation and post graduation as mentioned below. However, the courses of YCMOU are being implemented for the convenience of persons who are unable to pursue full-time education and get higher education at reasonable rates. Our college is dedicated to take education to people.
Preparatory Program – Individuals who have not cleared H.S.C. (12th) or their education is less than H.S.C. (12th) but wish to obtain a degree; they can directly enter any degree course of YCMOU by completing the ‘Preparatory Program’ course.

B.Com. Programme Structure
This programme has a duration of three years and has weightage of 108 credit points. In this programme the student has to study 6 Courses of 36 credit points for the first year, 5 compulsory courses and one elective course having weightage 36 credit points for the second year, and 4 compulsory and 2 specialization group courses having weightage 36 credit points for third year. Nine contact sessions for every course of 6 credit points are arranged at the study centre where the students can solve their difficultiesDuration
The minimum duration of this programme is three years, although you may complete the programme gradually within a maximum period of eight years. If the programme is not completed successfully during these eight years, you will be required to take fresh admission.Medium
The medium of instruction for the B.Com. programme is English OR MarathiEligibility Criteria
The admission to this programme is based on fulfilling any one of the following criteria -- Preparatory programme of YCMOU with minimum 40% marks. Certificate Programme for Self Help Group facilitators of YCMOU with minimum 40% marks.
- H.S.C. or equivalent examination of Maharashtra or other state HSC Board.
- 11th standard passed (Before 1975).
- Government recognised certificate / diploma of minimum two years after SSC

Eligibility
Admission to the M.com programme is open to all citizens of India who satisfy the following conditions
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) OR Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) OR Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) OR Bachelor of Business Management (BBM).
- In case a candidate has completed a course from a statutory board or University, which has, content similar to that offered in the courses in the programme, he/she might appeal to the Director of School of Commerce for getting exemption to a course through a written application supported by necessary documents (syllabi of the courses completed by him/ her). The decision of the Director of the School will be final and binding on the student in this respect
Evaluation
The pattern of evaluation used for the M.Com. Programme will consist of the following components. For each theory course of 100 marks, there will be 80 marks for University Assessment (End Examination [EE]) and 20 marks reserved for Continuous Assessment (Home Assignments [CA]) Student will have to obtain minimum 40 marks to pass in each course.
Registration Procedure
This programme is offered through online admission process. Students should follow online process of admission as specified by the university. On successful completion of registration process, the students should collect the online receipt and submit it to study centre for confirmation of admission.
